Rodent Control

Rodents are both dangerous to your health and to your wallet. They may carry a variety of diseases and parasites. Rodents can be infected with Hantavirus, a respiratory disease that can result in hospitalization; whenever you are dealing with rodent droppings or urine, be sure to wear the appropriate mask and gloves to avoid contracting Hantavirus. Rodents can also cause new expenses and fire hazards by chewing through the wiring of your home. Rats often total cars simply by chewing wires in your vehicle. Another common occurrence is the introduction of fleas, mites, and ticks to your home, which can carry their own diseases such as Typhus, Lyme Disease, RMSF, and many more.

Eliminate conducive conditions such as bird feed, fruit trees, unprotected gardens, water sources, exterior pet food, etc.

Maintain an ongoing exterior rodent baiting service to suppress the local rodent population. Ongoing for this service is key as studies show rodent populations consistently return to their previous numbers, when inconsistent or intermittent.

Rats are highly intelligent animals and should be approached as such in order to control them. Underestimating them is a mistake. Mice are less intelligent but can also be difficult to control given their size. Both have impressive, efficient chewing power.

We use only rodent-rated materials and scoff at expanding foam/steel wool exclusions. You won’t find us without galvanized ¼” screen. We build custom, professional crawl space doors where needed. If wires or pipes are entering through your crawl space, we modify the door so you have a good seal regardless. Every home is different. We tailor our exclusionary methods to your situation.
